How like me to discover a band I really like, just as they take a break from music making. I know, if it wasn’t for bad luck I’d have no luck at all. Timber! Timber! isn’t as alarming as the title, and the exclamation marks make it out to be, for example there are (sadly) no chain saws featured on the track. But what you do get is seductive melodies, glorious harmonies and chiming guitars all in a pop-perfect 3 and a half minutes. Midnight Mile – come back soon.
