Chiming guitars, well-drilled harmonies, a set of cracking riffs and even a bass playing lead singer! We always give extra points for non-lead guitar front men! What’s not to love! Oh and they’ve got an ear for a good tune that should have them heading for the rock stratosphere!

We just love finding new music totally by accident. We have no idea how we found The Good Natured, but Martha was sure she’d heard it on that Radio1, until she realised that she knew it because it was played in the Caroline TV office the week before. How we manage to put a website and radio programme together is mystery sometimes….we’re a mess! However we found The Good Natured, we’re damn glad that we did, as we’ve been wandering around for the last week chanting Be My Animal’s chorus of ‘whoa oh oh’. We gave it a spin on the Caroline TV radio programme on 27th February, and we still can’t get it out of our head. Superb!
How does it sound played live…in a lift? That’s what I always ask when someone tells me about a great new song. Matt Norris & The Moon have totally answered that particular musical question with a blistering performance of their song ‘First Light Of Day’ complete with double bass and trumpet….in a lift, in a brilliant little film by Julien Pearly. Lift gigs are the future…. at least they’re likely to be a sell out! Matt Norris & The Moon. Ding….definitely a band going up!
I’ve been waiting decades for someone to form a great guitar band that combines good story telling with analogue arcade synth sounds. I would have done it myself, but I don’t have any musical talent. So thank god the Jukebox Collective came along with Lost and Found.
